Hello everyone. I started working on a re-imagining/new version of one of my favorite dos characters, Commander Keen (aka Billy Blaze). I wanted to start a WIP thread to get some feedback. Also I’m relatively new to Zbrush (not to 3D) and want to just start taking advantage of these forums. Seems like a great place with a lot of really impressive work going on. So here’s my current progress. All comments are welcome, mostly looking for what works and what doesn’t though right now. Thanks

if you take a look in my sketchbook youll see the Keen i did for the CGsociety workshop I did. Mine was Keen as he might have looked in the 1930s as opposed to the modern take youre doing…

Hey Robo, thanks for dropping a line. Very cool. I like the old school American Football helmet. Nice touch. Cool sketchbook. Neat to look at cause I think you and I got on the Zbrush boat right around the same time. I think I’m gonna put up a sketchbook soon too. Seems like a great way to document progression, force oneself to create work, and get feedback. Anyway, nice work with the HMC, you dominated the ‘best bust’ category.
oh and I cant tell if his nose is too low or his eyes are too high
