Hi!
Here my last job, in short, I tried to show how Death can 'be a liberation from slavery of the coma.
Base modelling of every single piece done in XSI , scultpin , volume modelling and texturing done in zbrush.
for the displacement and renderer ive used vray with 3dsmax.
(i’ve made a single pass with mental ray for hair&fur ) some post done in photoshop.

I like the idea and your sculptings. Specially the cloth of the dead looks really nice. Personally I would prefer to see the final Image in a little more perspective way, a bit like the second Image from sculpting images, it will give the image more depth. I would also think to make some small color adjustments, the blood look very neon and maybe the skin of the old man works with less saturation much better.

Strange that there is only one reply to this. The sculpting is great, the texturing looks good, the image has a message (maybe that scares away people?).
I like it a lot, the only thing I would change is the render, it looks too “clean” for this subject.

Too bad you had problems with the nude, its artistic nudity, anatomy, I dont know what the hack can be wrong with that and why it needs that warning.

Keep up the good work and don`t worry about the lack of replies or stars.

I don’t post much anymore , but had to reply on this one , i saw it today on cgtalk too.

I really like this image, it is well made and has a message, there’s a lot of character in it. Rendering, modeling and lighting are all awesome.

As for the censor on nudity, i’m not sure, but I don’t think nudity is an issue at all on Zcentral, there’s a lot of nudity even in the latest top row image.

Absolutely a great concept and nice sculpting too sir! Great anatomy sculpts on the old man…for some reason, i would make the old man’s expression to be more in suffering…other than that, Top Row for sure! Great work sir!

This is probably my favorite 3D illustration ever. It took ages for me to locate this final render after seeing WIP on YouTube. Not enough comments here if you ask me:)
