Hello Sista’ - great work!
It is very well done, with all the high amount of tiny small details.
A thing that I’ve noticed in such kind of great productions is, that as soon as the color pass is been added on, somehow the magic dissapears.
I hope that I am not 3d-nerdish somehow, because that is not my intention. Its not that I prefer a shaded or wire-model, but I do actually see that somehow the end-result could be a photo. What made me impressed in the first place - and what lately is the only “ingredient” that impresses me - is the special and cool design of the character. That is what I feel dissapears when the color map was added.
If you (or others) agree with me, then I ask you - what could be the reason that it is like that? Maybe there is a lack of a final compositing pass?
(I saw once an article about Underworld2 and how they used Zbrush. The mesh and texture itself wasnt so impressing, but eveyone who saw the movie knows that the end-result was really cool. That was all thank to the compositing pass)
I hope that you understand that I am nothing but giving constructive critique - in fact your work was so good that it encouraged me to say something
