Hello,
I have the problem, even though the “Colorize”-button is switched off, my model still can not change the material or even if i turn on the “Colorize”-Mode I can not fill with any other color.
Any idea?

Do you have a texture map applied to the subtool? That will hide any material or color embedded in the model.
