Color to Texture wont work

Hello, I’ve followed a video tutorial by digital tutors, they explain every step for making a poly paint in zbrush. I’m currently trying to make the color into texture, however when I click on that button, my sculpture disappears, I have RGB at 100, also I have UV on and colorize. As soon as I press Texture to Color, the object appears again. I made the model with Zpherers.

I can actually export the texture to bmp (even if is not visible) and the result will a black BMP. I’ve also exported the OBJ and the MAP into 3ds max, and thats what I get (A black map)

I’ve attached my ZTOOL, in case somebody wants to give it a go and check if I’m the only one getting this issue.

The model that you provided is an OBJ. Only a ZTL contains the polypaint info. So we can’t test.

At a guess, though, you probably disabled UV’s while you were working. This deletes the UV’s completely. After you enable them again you need to re-UV your model. You can do that from within ZBrush if you’re using AUVTiles or GUVTiles. Or you can go to level 1 and import your original model with its UV’s again.

I’ve tried what you said, but I find myself a little confused.
In either case, which would be the way to remove the current color mapping and redo it from scrach, to try and see if the problem persists.

I have the same problem, and I’ve seen the entire PolyPaint video tutorial over and over again and I do the exact same thing but still does not work… :(, can you tell me please if you found the solution ??

Oh sorry, I don’t paint in Zbrush anymore, I just do it through 3Ds Max.
