My first PBR character, based on Veronika Firsova’s incredible concept.
This project would not have been possible without the guidance of Vincent Ménier, who mentored me throughout the whole process and helped me better appreciate a traditional studio pipeline.
The goal of this project was to develop my skills by creating a stylized PBR real time character. Doing this project, I learned a lot about stylization and technical principles to help the character integrate easily in a game pipeline. One of the biggest hurdle I had to overcome was the hair. Before this project I was really scared of tackling complex hairdos, so I purposely chose a concept that would challenge me.
