I searched the forum and was not able to find an answer.
I am trying to export a color map, but seems i only get a solid color as the map.
Here is the procedure I am doing (from a tutorial).
material to fast shader
colorize
colors entire model
zadd off, rgb 100
color palette, fill object button
paint, etc
open texture palett and change to 2048x2048
click ‘new’ in texture menu
rgb to 100
click txr>Col button in texture subpalette
export as .tif
what i am getting with my export is just a plain color that is showing in my picker even though the paint shows on my model and also shows in my tools>texture map window (if i click ‘new from polypaint’).
So I must b e missing a step somewhere, but i cant quite figure it out.
I imported the color texture into map just to check that it wasnt a display issue, but it was still just a solid color.
