i am trying to convert my polypainting to texture! when i do this i am only getting half a texture!! the actual texture created has basicly one leg one arm and half a face! i have been creating textures the same way in the past without any issues! does anyone no what i am doing wrong please help!!!
Most likely, the problem is with the UV mapping. Without being able to actually see examples, though, that’s only a guess.
you were spot on!! thanks very much!! i dont know why, but when i exported the model back into maya and cut the model in half, then mirrored it when i had finished mucking around with the verts, i hadnt mirrored the uvs. hence only one half a texture map.
