Coca-Cola Avatar Ogre

leonardo_in: I discussed this a few pages back, hope this helps?

thanks man …i am actually new to the software…so wat u just told bounced of my head …let me tell i wat got from the post … u made a geo and wrapped the chainset u made arround it …but wont it make the mesh real heavy plzzzzz dont mind my asking again but if u cud simplify the work flow step by step it wud be a really great help

thanks

1.In 3DS Max I modelled one tourus shaped ring (about 6 sides)

  1. I then rotated it a little and copied it a few times across and down. I basically made a large flat chainmail blanket

  2. I then poly modeled the shape of the cloak

4 I copied it to one side and proceeded to make it perfectly flat (by moving verts)

  1. then I layed the chainmail blanket over the top.

  2. I added a skinwrap modifier to the chainmail and added the flat cloak as the driver

  3. I then selected the flat cloak and added a morph modifier and selected the unflattened poly modeled cloak as the target

  4. I then ramped it up to 100%, the chainmail blanket will come right up with it!

  5. The cloak was then used with cloth sim as a driver for the chainmail.

I hope this helps?

i can not thank u enough for this help i will try this and get back to u thanksss a lot for this kind of detail thanks

thanks
