Hi, is it possible to use something like the clone stamp in Photoshop to clone polypaint of my model locally? I want to fix UV seams, but I can’t find a way.
Yes, when using the 2.5d cloner brush with Projection Master, although you can only work on one side of the object at a time in this mode. Press Ctrl to sample, and switch off ZAdd if you wish to only paint with color instead of color and depth.
If you’re going to use Projection Master, you can always use ZApp Link as well, to do what you want in Photoshop using the Photoshop toolset.
Spyndel thank you for the reply, it works! Cheers!
[edit: Response was to a follow up question since edited out by the OP]
Activate Projection master. Drop your mesh to the canvas. Click on the active Tool selection, which should now bring up a series of 2.5d brushes, rather than 3d tools. Select the “ClonerBrush”.
Depending on where on the model you’re working, you may wish to switch off the “fade” option in PM when picking the tool back up, otherwise your strokes may be lighter than you wish. Because of the single side projection limitation of PM, take care when painting near the edge of a model.
