Finally got my license working and after a few minutes messing with the clipping tools I noticed the angles of the curve snap at 5 degrees, I was wondering if and where i could turn this on or off, or change the value for something lower. Im sorry if this was already posted I didnt manage to find an answer for this yet.

Sorry, I had to have a short nap. 
Once you have started drawing the curve you get let up the Shift and Ctrl keys. The curve won’t then snap to any angle. In my experience it also makes it easier to click Alt twice. You can draw the curve anywhere you want and then hold the spacebar to position it.
