Hi,guys! I’m sure here is a question somebody should meet too, watching the image. Is there any way to avoid the unneeessary polygons displaying in the white areas when using clip brush?
Thanks!!

I’m guessing: no. If you clip (compress) a larger diameter to a smaller one, since the geometry is flattened in the direction of the normals and not actually removed, you will always get that ridge. Clip brushes are fantastic but they do have some limitations.
But I might be wrong here, someone else will chime in if I am.
Although now that I think of it, there IS something you can do. Mask off the part you want and use deformation to sized down the part you plan to clip to a diameter equal or less then the final result. Then clip away!
Thank you very much, nancyan!
Yes, I’ll take your way to try it. If the mesh is simple, that’s OK. Just afraid of the problem in complex mesh, hehe.
Chreers!
