Clip Brush Problems

I’ve known that the reason why sometimes a flange or extra geometry occurred at the edge of the clipping stroke is the Clip Brush does not remove the clipped part it just presses it towards the stroke. However when sometimes I hold on opt key, it comes out the result below:

Why it happens? I’ll appreciate any reply.

P.S. My system info: Mac OS X 10.7.4, using Z4R4 OSX.

record a session with the zscript recorder and show the file to see it…:wink:

Sorry, Scripts is a little difficult for me. I’ve used QRemesher to remesh it, however the result is very harsh, and the edges have been smoothed and not as sharp as it should be. formerly I used Z4 and the problem already existed, and I hoped it to be solved by updating to Z4R4, however, nothing changed of it in Z4R4.
