Classic LoKi Glorious Purpose!

GLORIOUS PURPOSE
This is my tribute piece to Richard E Grant’s performance as Classic LoKi. This was a quick project due to some additions to my pipeline. Created in Zbrush, Marmoset 4, Substance. and After Effects. I used Zwrap for the hi res tertiary details utilizing the free head scan from 3D Scan Store, and the results were stellar. Hope you enjoy Classic LoKi as much as I did creating him.

You just keep knocking out these incredible pieces of art! This was one of the best characters out of the series and I’m glad you took this project head on. Keep up the amazing work! Your attention to detail, character, and gesture really make this a beautiful piece. I know Sabertooth would have been a challenge to print with the fur, but I hope you can manage to sort out a 3d print of this at some point. It would make for such a great piece to have on your desk or nearby shelf to keep the inspirations alive.

Same here.! Richard E Grant did so much with that role, in 1 episode. His story arc was sad, fun and ultimately redeeming. As soon as I saw the episode, I knew his moment of glorious purpose had to be my next project. Thank you for not only liking my work but your praise as well. The second best part of the creation process is sharing.

Thank you so much for taking the time to view my works and your positive feedback. I really appreciate the support. Yeah, the second the episode ended I watched it again. Watching Classic Loki’s redemption and triumphant Glorious Purpose, was epic in every sense of the word.

Yeah, the details are the fun part. I put in my due time in the planning stages to be efficient but once I get to the detailing stage, I have a lot of fun. Yeah, I thought about reworking the Sabretooth fur as a sculpted piece, along with the hair, for the sake of printing. I still might. That being said, I just printed my last model, the soccer athlete and she came out great. So now I have the printing feva. I am definitely going to print Classic Loki. I need to set him up for keying and probably alter the cape have less flow and draped down more for balance.
