Citizen Takai

I really appreciate the comment BlobStoke!

Lord Talon Concept:
“Dont be a fool Jedi. I embody power. Power is absolution. Power is order. Power is the only truth…”

Ahh She is sexy!! I love the new piece. The cybotic arm is nicely modeled!! kickass presentation

Thank you for the comment!

This was a face study that I fell in love with and kept adding to.

Lenina Crowne, from the novel “Brave New World” by Aldous Huxley. As I audiobooked the novel, this is how I imagined her appearance.

Ty Diablo ;]

This is a little robot I made trying to do a 4 hour concept.

I painted and posed it later on and used the low poly topo from the zmodel base to make a game ready character:
You can see it on sketchfab here:

Was testing Keyshot Pro with Substance Painter, examination of what kinda result can be made over a weekend.
Rapid modeling, posing, and physical damage pass with Zbrush’s Zmodel and Sculpting brushes.

Quicksculpt

Looks really nice. I would make his skin a bit more glossy though.Especially around the eyes & mouth.Keep it up & Keep’em coming.

Ty Diablo,

Yeah, I agree, he could use some patches or variance of skin specularity, that could have been achieved with some more time spent painting materials or just even a specular/roughness alpha. (his skin is just one custom made from keyshot).
But seriously Ty for the critique, I need them very badly right now to move forward.

Starting to check out realtime character pipelines. I used Zbrush for the models, both Hi and low, Zmodel brush, Substance painter and zbrush for painting (I like painting skin in zbrush :)), and tried both Handplane baker substancepainter for the bakes.
You can see it also in in Realtime on Sketchfab: HERE
Hope you enjoy!

Another realtime PBR character. You can view it in 3D HERE.
I took this one to KS bridge too to try to find a material bridge for some of the outputs Substance Painter 2 puts out that allows it to fully complement KS like ZB does.

Modeled and sculpted in ZBrush. Asymmetrical sculpt from primitives: posed cylinders and spheres then sculpted on top of them, same with portrait.
SP2 for bakes and textures, Keyshot 6 for renders, and Sketchfab for 3D viewing.

Hello! It is nice to see your works becoming more and more solid. Great job!
This days I am not too often visiting ZBC since I just lost interest in it. But your’s and some other guy’s threads is the reason why I still come back to check new stuff. In your case I particularly like the original ideas, designs and various implementations of female beauty. Special faw for Lenina Crowne - always happy to see artists visualizing characters or ideas from serious books instead of making yet another (1000th?) implementation of pop-cultural superhero from comic-book or recent blockbuster. The forum is already overwhelmed with them.
So keep up the good work and create more original art!

Sketchfab Embeds:

This is a model that started as a portrait study then I added a flight suit.
Hope you enjoy.

These are the other two prior PBR projects I sculpted and modeled with Zbrush.

@Vir Norin: Thank you!

A project utilizing ZbrushR7, substance painter 2, and zbrush keyshot bridge.

Finally got a hold of how to set up the materials: Use Advanced metallic as a label on a advanced Dielectric, then sync the textures to their appropriate channels.
Learned alot, hope you like it.

Another fun project, rendered in keyshot, using Zmodeler and substance painter 2 for textures.
Still have alot more to learn but this guy was fun to make.

Well, decided to make a “Jedi Temple to Ashla” to learn more about anatomy, Jedi lore, and make lightsabers and stuff.
Greek and Roman classical sculpture is beloved, so they were mixed with beloved hero legend.
Keyshot and Zbrush.

Hope you like them.
