Here is a character i sculpted and painted a while ago, for Highlander, a Xbox360 game.
Main sculpting was achieved in Zbrush, with the help of Maya Paint Fx fo create the hair and the fur. (i could paint both depth and color at the same time)
I extracted the normal map with the help of Zmapper, and did the texture painting using Zbrush and Bodypaint.
The model was finally rendered in Bodypaint.
The game company, Widescreen Games, closed its doors last July, and the game will never be released.
Great work on modeling and texturing. Can we see the wireframe and textures?
Nice work François!
Some ZBrush screenshots to share with us?
It’s a quite old project (almost 2 years)., so i don"t have any wireframe picture close to me. Almost everything is archived on a dvd.
I’ve got another pic, showing separate diffuse and color render passes
If u interested to listen my opinion, i think that a concept is not pushed enough, imo he is boring. Besides the arms are too small comparing to body.
Boring? hes awesome! i really like the mouth on his belly, great idea!
to make things clear, I’m not the guy who did the concept. He was employed by the game company.
I ‘only’ detailled and textured the model so that it is also resembling as possible, with regard to the original artwwork.
Awesome work rimasson…like the details in normal and diffuse…All he needed is a badass weapon…the torso looks awesome…small_orange_diamond
Nice work man, it is a shame the game did not see light of day.
this is cool! Too bad the company closed, was looking forward to the game
