Changing Topo Color

I am doing a little retopologizing. My problem is that the mesh color is so close to the color of the retopo spheres network, it is hard sometimes to see where I need to work. If I turn on masking, I can see the network well, but having the mask on sometimes cause some problems with picking. How can I change the color of the base mesh I am working on? Thanks.

change the color on the color picker.

Tried that. It didn’t work. During retopologizing, you are in a weird state. I think you are editing either, a zsphere or the mesh that I selected to retoplogize or both?!?. The mesh I wanted to recolor, is the mesh I am using as a form to remodel over. This is the one I wanted darker and I didn’t want to start over. Thanks.

try using a different colored material, or the whitematcap

You can change the color of the topology wires to what you want. Open the Preferences>ZSphere submenu and click and drag from the color swatches to the color you want to use. If you’re working on some topology the colors will update but you may need to rotate the mesh a little.

Thanks, guys. I think I got something that works.
