changing size of diferent subtools?

is it possible to change the size of just 3 sub tools of 10?

i have 10 sub tools but i just need to rescale 3 of them, just the shoe, laces, and the sole, but i don’t want to mess up the leg with transpose master, is it possible to just select those sub tools and do some master transpose thingy?

thanks guys.

another thing, how can you re topology in another program and bring it back to Zbrush to use all the detail, i know that has something to do with the projection, i am use to do the re topology inside zbrush, not sure the pipeline with different apps.

I’d merge the three subtools, scale and split them again if I wanted to do the scale all at once.

Project details onto a new topology is pretty easy. Import your new topology, append your hires-model as a subtool. Divide the new topology suitably and with the new topology selected use the Project All button.

thanks Kerwin, the thing i don’t know is how to merge those 3 only and then separate them. in modo i just copy and paste in different layers or objects (sub tools) in Z brush i know that you can use master transpose, and put everything into 1 sub tool, you move everything around and then you click again and master transpose will separate the subtool again.

i just import the re topology geometry and append it as sub tool and just leave the visible sub tools that i want to project, got it.

some times i just want to spin some vertex around instead retopo everything.

On the subtool pallet:
Merge Visible
Groups Split

Groups Split uses the polygroups in your tool to split.

now i see how to work with those, like setting poly groups. =)

i will try it in the night after work =).
thanks again.
