Changing Importing Preferences after the fact.
I think I made a huge mistake, and was wondering if there is a way to fix my error. So, initially when I started working on my first character that was originally created in Maya I imported the mesh but never changed my preferences in Zbrush on how the model was imported. I.E The mesh is coming in correctly in the Y axis. However, is rotated 180 degrees in the wrong direction. ( His back is facing forwards. ) Now when I am exporting out all of my displacement / Bump maps, I think this is why I am having an alignment issues, when applying my maps back in Maya.
The reason I think I am having a alignment issues is when I look at my model in Zbrush I have scars and features that are on the right side of the face. But when I apply my maps in Maya the scars and features are now on the Left side of the face. I have tried to flip my maps both in Zbrush and in Photoshop horizontally, but then I know that they do not align up with my UV’s
So, does anybody know how I might be able to change the direction of my model after the fact, now that it’s a Zbrush tool? I have done way to much work to go back to the begging and start all over.
