Changing default brush settings?

Hi. Using 3.1 on Precision 690, OS: XP-Pro, 2 Gig RAM.

Is there a way to change the default settings of the smooth brush – and other brushes?

every time I start ZBR I have to change the settings of these brushes to the starting places I like. I may modify them as I go, but the general defaults of most brushes are useless to me. This is true for the smooth brush especially.

Anyone?

change the brush settings to where you would like them to default.

go into the brush palette on the right. “save as” save over the old one.
