Change character posture?

Is there a way to use the armature skeleton to change the posture of a modeled character. I’m trying to animate with 3ds max, but I find it way too complicated. I hope I can do this in zbrush by stop & motion screen capturing.

PS: I know how to do it the hard way (masking, rotating etc) but I wonder if there’s an easy way. adforadbrite.jpg

transposing is not hard. if you know how to use it properly. what are you planning animating?

A dance, using the following poses as a basis for the sequence.

you can store the view by using Zapplink and then use transpose to pose your model. after that use Zapplink to restore the view and export it for stop motion.

Thanks NoobVee, Im already figuring out how to animate with bones in max, I’ll take your advice as a second options if I don’t succeed :stuck_out_tongue:
