Center Rotation on Spherical SubTools

Hi.

I have appended a sphere into a character to use as an eye and it is positioned correctly in the socket. However, I do not like the orientation of the pupil and would simply like to spin it on center within the socket. How do you do this? I can use the Transpose Tools to rotate and move and this works, but involves a lot more steps than just rotating the sphere on center. If I use S.Pivot or C.Pivot the pivot relocates but does not relocate to the center of the sphere. What am I missing? I am using 3.12.

Thanks!

Make sure when you use s.pivot that only the sphere is appearing (hide everything else.)

ZB 3.5 has new feature called “Align to Object” on the Draw pallet that may make this easier, but for now s.pivot should work to locate the pivot at the geographic center of what is visible.
