Center problem [Answered]

Been trying for 2 days to get center to work with masks in Shadowbox. Read and reread directions in several books and tutes.
Any idea what is happening?

Can you explain exactly what you are trying to achieve? I have no problem using the ‘Center’ masking option with ShadowBox. Also, don’t forget that you can reposition a mask by holding the Spacebar.

Thanks Marcus. I set up everything - turn off perspective, frame it. Get the circle mask brush. In stroke flyout set squre and center. Activate symmetry turn on z axis.
When I draw it still uses upper corner and when pressing alt i notice the center and square buttons dim out.

Thanks Bob,

Are you holding Ctrl when you select the Center and Square buttons in the Stroke palette? Also, are you holding Ctrl+Alt together when you are trying to erase the mask? You need to do this to make sure that you are setting the stroke for masking.

Thanks Marcus,
That was it . I could not find anywhere that you had to hold CNTRL when selecting Center and Square.
The erase I got with no problem.

Many thanks my friend,

That’s great.

Have fun,
