Cedric Seaut's Little Box

this is cool for so many reasons. Very very nice stuff indeed!
i am not that far with zbrush, but i am actually turning real people into this kind of thing for a living! Just thought i’d share…

he is getting his whole side done in this style…

hope this is appropriate and doesnt piss anyone of. i really hope i can get this good with zBrush so i can make my work better. props to you!

LuxAltera: That is a sick tat man!!! :grimacing: awesome!!! :+1:

yop
very slow sunday… not a super original concept but i needed to forget my teeth pain
Vray render, sculpt from a Zbrush Plane primitive.
more soon.

Kolaas_01

Very nice work again Ced! Compliments! :sunglasses: :+1:

happy new year for everyone !!

i had time to work on some “sang bleu” characters during christmas.
i present you the first one

sculpt and final Render in Vray

SangBleu_13

Awesome again…could you please share some wip images again???

did you make this character the same way you made the other seng blue characters??

are you going to create a short or something with these too??!!!

Cool character.

oh and is that a custom matcap you use to show off the sculpt?

Thanks
later

bad ass Cedric!! love it :+1: :+1: :+1:

how do you get so much done out side of work?

Damn I am lazy

oh damn! that is SO damn awesome!!! directly 5 stars from me!!

This is by far one of my favorite threads. Great work as always. The skin colour kinda throws me off. It blends into the armor. Maybe a few blue tones here and there on the skin will create a nice bit of contrast.

Awesome work!

Cedric, you do amazing work. very unique style! And the renders are so nice! Great Job! :+1:

Cedric

Another great piece. I really like this one the best. I love the armor and the materials. Hope all is well for you.

Paul

hey thanks guys for the good words

selahpoetic --> thanks  actually i try to furnish two different worlds, “Sang Bleu” and “K-roc” in order to create an IP for game one day… just have to find someone to let me that chance.
For the matcap i didn’t create anything just use one in the new Zbrush matcap library.

cbostjan --> thanks  find a job outside your country without any old friends and family at the proximity haha  bahh i just really love doing characters and finding a place close to the beach to work in the future is my second motivation

wethand --> thanks a lot :slight_smile:

DAnconia --> thanks ! and actually… i think you’re right, i’ll definitively do some changes :slight_smile:

JJP3D --> thanks a lot ! for the render, to be honest Vray is far better than me. Just put a background oject for the light bounce and three vray lights to fake a “studio lighting” set up. And it works very well !!

gabo1991 --> nice to read you Paul ! i really miss the sun, Montreal’s winter is… cold, very cold  Thanks a lot Paul and i really hope everything is fine for you too

Beautifull design,sculpting and render :+1:

Another very beautiful piece Cedric, are these your concepts.

Beautiful and skilfull!

Awesome work as always!

Hey, next time you start working on the detail of your characters would you do me a favor and record it? I know a lot of us would benefit. Keep going!

Beau travail!

Your ability to sculpt mechanical/hard surface objects in an organic fashion is remarkable. And it is quite elegant.

Your renders are superb too.

Keep them coming!

My God!!!
Great character, great design and great sculpt!!!

Agree with DAnconia…
I’m a newbie and u’r one of my fav, please add tutorial on how u work…
I’d wait and love to see it…

Thanks…

hey cedric!

beautiful work as always. really like how you do the armors and your renderings.
if you ever get the time, please do a mini tut on how you do this (the armor).
is it just clay brush and lazy mouse or do you mask it all and then inflate?
