Carve teeth?

Hello,

Any suggestions how to carve teeth into this creature I am sculpting? Should attempt a mesh extraction? Was thinking this method but if there was possibly an easier way to carve them without doing that? Any advice would be great! Thanks!

i would just sculpt a tooth and then place them where you wanted them.

you can try Panel Loops:

http://docs.pixologic.com/user-guide/3d-modeling/hard-surface/panel-loops/

For your work:

  • Push in the mouth to get a mouth cavity.
  • Create a polygroup for each thooth
  • Create the theeth with Panel Loop (thickness + double side enabled)

Edit: You have to use the slice tool afterwards to get seperated theeth.

Thanks for the advice…I will definitely give that a try. Never used panel loop method before. I just asked if there was an easier method rather then sculpting them one by one. I even tried one entire mouth piece but will be hard to still sculpt each tooth. Not hard but time consuming.

Thanks!
