Caravaggio closeUp

Also make sure the material diffusion is set to 100% when using blur or painting. If that helps? Me not paying attention to whether material properties were correct or on caused me some issues.

I wish someone could tell me how to get rid of the one pixel verticle lines that keep popping up in renders. They are easy to fix in post but irritating and I cant figure out what causes them?

Sorry I’m highjacking here, I’ll go away:o

I forgot the main thing :o

Wonderfull work :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

wow, excellent painting work

How did i miss this thread…this is very very nice painting in ZB. :+1: :+1:

this is a masterpiece :grimacing: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

As you said, don’t touch anything! I really like the sketchy look of it.
Good work pal!

The reason I jumped on this thread as soon as I saw the top row pic is that (apart from being a huge Carravagio fan) I am presently doing a full-size oil copy of a Carravagio St.Jerome, (the one with the bright red robes and amazing diagonals) more as an excercise than anything else, but you’ve inspired me to try one in Z3… Hey, how about a Carravagio challenge! Many of his works will lend themselves to Z, and you could not find a better way to improve your poly painting, or your understanding of light, the single most important aspect of painting in any media.

So where’s our update Steventaylor (Fiendishly clever nick btw, I wonder what his real name could be…I guess we’ll never know)?

good job~!!

that’s great!

wow:grimacing:
