Hey,
I was wondering if anyone had any good workflows for making capes and cloth in Zbrush to then be used for game cinematics?
I’m working on a demo reel at school and I wanted to understand how to utilize clothe as a modeler.
Thanks!

There are two approaches you can use in ZBrush, depending on the type of cloth.
If the cloth is form-fitting, you could mask the model that will be wearing it and then use Tool>SubTool>Extract to create the mesh. There are settings that let you determine how thick it should be and how smooth the surface and edges should be. This resulting mesh will have new polygroups for the edges and inner surface which means you can keep or eliminate those surfaces as you need.
If the cloth is not form-fitting (such as a cape) you would instead need to use Retopology to construct the new surface. http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Creating_New_Topology
