can't see inside?

Hi,

I’m trying to work on this model, but the side that I want to work on is invisible. I’ve imported this obj from maya. I looked for something that might be attributed to normals but didn’t see anything. Any ideas?

thanks!

By default, the ‘backface’ is hidden (hidden faces = faster renderings). You can, however, instruct ZBrush to draw all polygons by activating the tool->Display Properties->Double. (You may want to first try the tool->Display Properties->Flip option, the mesh may simply have its normals inverted i.e. ‘inside-out’ )

tool>display properties>double

perfect. I was JUST about to ask where this tool was, but I see that’s in this second response… exactly what I was looking for-THANKS

I have another issue where the brushes aren’t working on my current model, but I need to do a little more investigation on that. Currently it appears that over time, the brushes fail when working in the OS X version. I need to make sure before posting though.
