Cant Scale enough

Hey there, I am working on my first Z sculpt. I am trying to scale the view so that I can view some details up close. I scale the view as much as possible, but it stops well before the model is very close. I scaled the group of models using deformation tools, and tried again, and it’s the same.

I now presume the scale tool is relative to the bounding box of the object?

There must be some simple trick I’m missing to fix this??

Which version are you using? If 3.1 that would explain things. 3.2 and 3.5 allow you to scale much larger than 3.1 so that you can get to those hard to reach points.

Yeah I am using 3.1

so there is no workaround with my version?

I haven’t got it here at work, but maybe the scaling limit changes if I hide some of the geo, and therefore reduce the bounding box size ??
