cant resize zspheres to a point

Guys I am trying to rescale my zspheres and some I want to bring to a point but it wont let me. I went to preferences>zspheres and lowered both to the lowest level 2 but thats not helping.

I used to be able to but all the sudden it doesnt seem to be working. any suggestions?

the below pic show what I get as the smalles size sphere i can make and is scaled to the lowest level it will allow me

Yeah I ran into this too once, but it was so long ago I can’t remember exactly what I did to get around the problem.

Best I can think is try scaling all of them down or up using the scaling in the transform palette and then try scaling a single zsphere to a point using the regular transpose command.
