Hi, i’ve been following the ZBrush documentation on custom menus. Iv’e followed the instructions to the letter but i cannot seem to rename my custom menus by Ctrl-Clicking on the name in a tray. I have custom hotkeys too and im not sure if i have overridden something important. I have spent 3 hours on my custom menus and i would really hate to do it all over again because of something so simple. If anybody could help me it would be appreciated!
A couple points.
-
You have to be in customize mode (preferences > config> enable customize) in order to create custom menus and rename them. While in this mode , you wont be able to assign hotkeys. When you leave this mode, you can assign hotkeys again.

The key combo to assign hotkeys or rename menus while in customize mode is Ctrl+Alt , not simply Ctrl, when clicking on a menu item.
Please give this video a watch and see if it clears up your issues.
Thanks for the help. Though I have figured this out on my own after playing around with it for decent while. I had Enable Customise on but following ZBrushDocs misled me by saying the hotkey to change was CTRL-Click. It really ought to be corrected since it’s suppose to be the most reliable source to learn about the software…
Thanks for pointing that out. I have updated the documentation.
