Can't "project All" with only color texture. Always adds dispalcement too.

Hey Pixologic guys and fellow Zbrushers.

I can’t seem to get the project all feature in the subtools to only project the color maps. I always get a displacement addition as well.

I made sure I only have “rgb” turned on in the upper menu bar and made sure “zadd” and “zsub” are turned off. Yet when I project all it still only does the displacement and not the color.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

I think “project all” has always transferred any displacement regardless of Zadd setting. I am not aware of the way to disable this.

If you want to do color only, use the Zproject brush.

you could also create a layer before you project all, then afterwards turn the layer down to zero and your paint should remain.

Yep, projectall always projects mesh and color. All you need to do is store a morph target before projecting and then switch back to that morph after the projection.

Thanks for the responses. They all work  .
