I want to create a hard surface object so I tried to create one using the “Almost Boolean” tutorial that matvara provided.

I wanted this to be a closed object… as you can see from my results, I was not successful. Any thoughts on how to resolve the problem?

I made a 3d cube and and adjusted the parameters in initialize to make the general shape needed.

Then I masked the desired “trim” area on both sides of the object.

Next I hid the points after inverting the mask

Last, tried to make a unified skin. It tells me the I cannot do that however. I tried to make a polymesh of it (desperate move) but it didn’t work.
