Trying to install both UV Master and Decimation Master but its not working for some reason. Plug-ins still go into Zbrush/Zstartup/Zplugs yes? I put the files in there with Zbrush closed and then open Zbrush but no plugs are appearing under my plug-in menu. Any help?
That is the correct location. Make sure that what you’re putting in the Zplugs folder are the .zsc file and the plugin’s data folder. So it should be:
Zplugs
…Plugin.zsc
…PluginData folder
…Other files
NOT:
Zplugs
…Plugin folder
…Plugin.zsc
…PluginData folder
The only other thing that’s in the UV master zip file I downloaded from Pixologic is the UVMasterDLL.dll which I’ve also put in the plugs folder. I don’t see a plugin data folder.
You didn’t unzip it correctly.
Holy displaced cow zber2, you are correct. I opened it with winzip and those are the only two files that I saw. So I used the extract command for winzip and the data folder came out successfully. I installed both plug-ins and now they’re working fine. Thank you!
