Can't get Decimation Master to appear/work

Hi all,

I’ve checked the forums & read all the instructions over & over again but I can’t for the life of me get Decimation Master to work. I’m trying out zbrush so I’m on the 3.1 trial on Windows 7 64 bit. I’ve also tried it on my old machine (WinXP 32 bit) but the plugin doesn’t work on either of them.

In “C:\Program Files (x86)\Pixologic\ZBrush3\ZStartup\ZPlugs” I have:

DecimationMasterWinV1.12.zsc

and in C:\Program Files (x86)\Pixologic\ZBrush3\ZStartup\ZPlugs\DecimationMasterDataWinV1.12 I have:

DecimationMasterApp.exe
DecimationMasterDLL.dll

Am I doing something wrong or does the plugin just not work with the 3.1 trial? I’ve also tried manually launching the zscript file manually from inside zbrush but nothing happens… little help would be much appreciated- thanks!

I am having the same exact problem. I am running on Windows 7 64 bit with a copy of Zbrush 3.1

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The plugins in the download centre only work for zbrush 3.5r3 not for earlier versions of zbrush (unless you downloaded them some months ago before 3.5r3 came out). The plugin download page does say that they are for 3.5r3. If you have a licensed version of 3.1 you can upgrade to 3.5 for no cost.
