I was working on a model based on the default head model. I saved it, closed the program and went to open it back up to work on it again but it won’t let me edit it. Only the Draw option can be selected. Anyone know how to edit it?
you can’t edit it in “3d” anymore. You saved out a zbrush document, you wanted to save a .ztl or a ztool. the document is 2.5d information.
Document>Save As saves a 2.5D snapshot of the canvas for future painting. To save models for future 3D editing use Tool>Save As. That saves the 3D data.

I just lost 2 hours of work because of this. I mean it is utterly counter intuitive. In every software known to humans, a master document has always contain the whole information of the work. Sorry, but I’m actually quite frustrated. This is bad, seriously.
