Can't change SHIFT + S Space mouse going nuts

Hi,
So my 3D space mouse keeps triggering the hotkey SHIFT +S ( dup- copies a still image) constantly, so annoying.
This only happens in 2023 versions. In 2022 and below are fine.
I’ve been trying to remove the zbrush’s default hotkey SHIFT + S but it doesn’t change.

Anyone know how to remove or change this???
Thanks!
Lou

Hi @louvfx ,

Yes, we’ve identified an issue with Space Mouse in 2023.2. on both macOS and Windows. If you attempt to interact with the canvas in any way while still sending navigational input with the Space Mouse, you’ll get that snapshotting behavior. To avoid it you must completely stop navigating with the Space Mouse before you attempt to click on the mesh or canvas.

Canvas information can be quickly cleared with Ctrl-N.

Rolling back your program version to ZBrush 2023.1.2 would resolve the issue until we are able to issue a fix. That version is not affected.

We are looking to release a hotfix for this issue as soon as we can. Unfortunately I can’t say exactly when this will happen. But we expect it to be sooner rather than later.

We apologize for the temporary inconvenience this causes our Space Mouse users.

Thank you!

Oh, I wasn’t sure if it was a space mouse bug or zbrush.
In any case, I was trying to delete that hotkey that was triggering it, but no luck.
Ok thanks for the info, much appreciated!

Lou

there’s another problem now from what I can tell - the qtrans threshold (quick transform threshold) isn’t working when using space mouse which makes the viewport unbearably laggy when you zoom in on your high-poly count model (the more you zoom in, the more laggy). With pen/mouse navigation it works as usual (meaning it goes to the lowest subdivision on subtools when navigating the view).

HI @Hickz,

We are aware of the issue, thank you!

Please report all technical issues with ZBrush to ZBrush support. Reporting these issues any place else runs the risk of that report being missed. It is pure accident I happened to notice your post here.

Thank you!
