Cannot load Spotlight, Mac OSX? Answered!

Hi. One desktop using OS 10.7, ZBrush 4 or 4R2; one laptop using OS 10.6, 4R2.

Neither double clicking Lightbox texture nor selecting a texture from the palette will open Spotlight. When using the texture palette, a system browser will open but all file types (jpg, psd, tif) are “unselectable”. Any ideas?

You now have to load and select your texture and click the ‘Add To Spotlight’ button (Texture menu) to add textures into Spotlight.

Please forgive my naiveté: where is this “add to spotlight” button?

I do not see an add button.

Once you have the first one loaded into Spotlight, you can then double click on textures in Lightbox to put them directly into Spotlight.

Ha ha!

Oh. I feel really stupid now. Thanks a million.

Yes I did. Everything works as advertised.
