Hi,
I open up the material menu, and the load material button is grayed out.
Tried restarting zbrush, loading different tools, rebooted machine, still grayed out.

how many materials do you have in the ZStartup material folder?
If it’s a bunch, then that is the problem. Zbrush will only let you load so many materials at a time.
