I have a mesh that is about 1.5 million poly’s - it’s been decimated once already, but I need an even lower res version. It has no UVs so applied AUV tiling and chose “keep uvs” in the DM options. However, it won’t decimate it unless I either delete the UV’s or disable the “keep UV” option.
It pre-processes fine, and when I opt to decimate “all” or “current” it does it’s thing, no errors or warnings, but the poly count doesn’t change. Dumping the UV’s makes it work normally.
Is there a reason why that might happen, something I can fix?
