Can you store a setup? and Plugin error

I know you can store ui options, but I have a 3d plane with my reference dropped to the canvas while I work on my model. Is there a way to store this so I dont have to set it up all over again everytime I reopen the file.

On a side note Im getting an error message after I try to use the plug in Imageplane. it says: “Alpha:Brush00 in… [IPress,Alpha:Brush00]” can anyone help?

To store the image background:

  1. Turn off Edit to leave Edit mode.
  2. Press Edit>Undo or Ctrl+Z. This will remove your model from the scene without removing the image background.
  3. Save the document from the Document palette.
  4. Be sure to also save your model from the Tool palette.

This method won’t save the model position. If you want to do that then the simplest way is to use the ZAppLink Views feature under ZAppLink Properties in the Document palette. You can set up a view (or several) and then save the set using the Save Views button. Next session:

  1. Load the document you saved above.
  2. Load your model and put in Edit mode.
  3. Load the ZAppLink Views file.
  4. Press the relevant button to restore the view.

For the problem with Image Plane: delete the ImagePlane3.zsc from your ZStartup\ZPlugs folder then install the most recent version available from the PIxologic Downloads page.

Thanks Marcus I did’nt know about that option with the Zapplink, and as for the for the imageplane problem I just recently downloaded but I guess I’ll retry it and see what happens.

Cheers!
