It is mostly just a nuisance, any help would be appreciated. Trying new ways of doing stuff and I could only use the curves on one side so they did not even work for what I wanted. Go figure.
Try to select any brush that using curves like “ZremesherGuides” and left click on the model away from actual curve lines
- Make that part where you want have the curves as a own area polygroup (give that area a own polygroup).
- Now select with your SelectBrush that area with that created polygroup and let the rest of your model be invisible on canavas.
- Now choose the ZRemesherGuides Brush (click just on him).
- Then go to menu: Stroke, and there select/open the sumenu: Curve Funktions.
And now click off the buttons -Boarder- and -Crease Edges- at the side of the big Button [Frame].
And now click once on the big button [Frame] there.
And you will receive around your polygroup area a closed curve.
PS. I’m not sure to have understood you. But if you have meant both sides. Then make:
A.) Set your created polygrouparea also on the other side with the Mirrow and Weld function:
Tool > Modifiy Topology > Mirror And Weld. And you receive the same created polygroup area at the other mirror side of your model.
B.) Or: created by hand your curves also on the other side, like in your image is to see. Hmm…
The ZRemesherGuide brush solution from Piosio worked for me!!! Thanks man
