Can .mat files from Zbrush be used in Max?

Hi All,
Can .mat files from Zbrush be used in Max?
I see the mat option in the export menu and it exports a .mat file with the .obj.
Is there any way this information can shape a shader inside Max’s material editor?

as far as I know they can be exported, but can only be used in ZBrush
