I noticed it adds a text suffix in 4R8 and I can’t find a preference to turn it off. The problem is I need to control my underscore suffixes for exports to the Substance Painter baker, which uses them to identify subparts of meshes. I need the correct scaling from Scalemaster, but on top of that it was the only way to export multiple objs that had object names matching their filenames (a requirement for Painter).
Also it would be amazing if I could specify “grp” off in the scalemaster settings so I don’t have to toggle it off in every subtool, or better yet change the default in the preferences for export/import.
