You could do that here in Zbrush yes. It’s possible. This program is more or less devoted to exploring what it would be like to sculpt with virtual clay.
You could do that here in zbrush, yeah. But the thing is…exactly and not generally, how much do you want from this program. I can sculpt like I would sculpt (pretty much) in real life via Zbrush. Yeah. But arranging stuff in 3d? Oh man, it would drive me practically up the wall trying to do iti here. Why? Because there are other programs out there suited for that type of work.
Sort of like why I don’t turn on the news when I want to know what happened to the Xmen. Both are really important to me. What happened to Rogue and Wolverine! I don’t turn on CNN or MSNBC. I seek out Marvel you know. Hey what happened to Pakistan or Uzbekistan or wherever…I don’t expect Stan Lee to give me the breaking details.
Same with Zbrush and external packages.
I use Zbrush to sculpt. God knows at this point it’s almost virtual.
If I want to precisely place one object in relation to another? Hell…I use Maya, or 3ds or whatever. One thing for one thing. This program Zbrush here is used for sculpture, artistic expression…by the artists, for the artists. For the precise placement of one object to the next, check another package, I guess that’s up to you right. Hell I haven’t even found the best thing! I’m stuck on Hexagon for crying out loud if I want precision and I don’t even know if that will be around forever. Long story short, you’ve done the right thing by asking a question because I don’t thinky anyone has settled down exactly with what is the proper way to lay it all down.
