Can I just create a poly in 4.7

I have a small hole left in a piece of geometry I want to close up just by creating a few polys.

If I try and do this with zmodeller ‘close hole’ - in any of its variations - it tries to create all sorts of crazy geometry.

Googling for an answer I see that there is a topology subpalette with some useful functions which ought to be just what I want.

But I can’t find this anywhere - certainly not under the tool palette.

Has this subpalette disappeared in 4.7? Or is it invisible for some other reason?

Did you try any of the stitching options in ZModeler? A screenshot of the geometry would also be helpful for us t suggest more possible options.

Thanks dillster, Doug. I solved the problem by a combination of zmodeller edge close-holes and deleting polys that zb was creating in error. I think maybe the problem was caused by working with very small polys down around the brush size=1 sort of size.

(I was closing up the geometry of the earhole!)

If I get time I will try and recreate the problem in a simpler model - the behaviour looks buggy to me.

Thanks again.
