I’ve started trying to use polypaint and can’t seem to get the opacity of the brush right. I have a bump/alpha texture and a color texture I want to use at the same time to paint on my object, but depending on which tool I use the transparency turns out differently.
If you use freehand it builds up enough to look like 100% opacity, but then the placements are too close together. If I use dragrect I can get the size and position I want, but what it places down is light/faded/low opacity. I’ve tried going to the brush menu and changing the curve of the falloff but that didn’t seem to work.
Is it because I’m using the alpha channel to dictate the zdepth at the same time? Is there a way to just have the alpha channel apply to the depth side of the brush and not the color side so it’s not faded?
