Callahan Sketchbook

this stuff floors me!
You can’t look at your work without smiling…such great feeling and movement…each figure is charged.
Beautiful work

Darukin: The hair is made from a bunch of poly strips I made in 3ds Max. Then its exported into ZB and posed with transpose. After that I simply mask it all and hit extract mesh to give it thickness. This is the first time I’ve used this technique, I think doing it with zspheres like I normally do is probably just as fast.

Thanks for the break down, very cool:+1:

Very cool, you definitely captured it .Nicely done!

huh???

Great work!

Soooo good expression :sunglasses:small_orange_diamond:+1:

all of your works are fantastic… hardcore z brusher !!
the chick is luking really naughty n bubbly …
congrats for top row… deserving work.

Was there any retopology or mesh editing involved from that Z-sphere rig to that posed base mesh in that first workflow image?

I would never be able to get results that clean and accurate from a Z Sphere rig. That is quite some mastery.

If you checkout post 295 http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showpost.php?p=603083&postcount=295 It shows how I go about retopoing spheres. This technique will most likely be obsolete when “Zspheres 2” come out.

Awesome work Greg. This sketchbook is a real source of inspiration. Congrats on top row.

lovely and inspirative work !

3rd time this thread goes toprow if im not mistaken?
In germany theres a say “all good things are three”
i hope this doesnt count for your sketchbook

awesome… once again…
congrats on getting up there again.

Ah, I see thank you. Seething with jealousy over your lovely sculpt was bad enough. Having to be jealous that you got such clean and accurate results directly from a Zsphere rig would have been too much.

That roller girl is awesome. I love the expression on her face

Awesome!! I love this stuff and I really appreciate you posting the progression of your workflow as well. Thanks!
