Caligari trueSpace --> Zbrush 2

Hello everyone,

Is somebody here using Zbrush and TrueSpace ??

My question is how you handle displacement maps in TrueSpace ?
I downloaded the “DispTestHead” and let me say like this…
My render in TrueSpace dont look anything like the results ive seen here from other 3D programs… :cry:

:cry: Anyone using Truespace ??

Please! Im desperate! Im quite a noob using the Zbrush (:o) and I know about the extreme potential of this software, I use it mostly to add polygon-details to my works done in the Caligari trueSpace 6.6 (Its great and really easy to use :eek: ) but I still have some trouble when texturizing my creations, the “texture-exporting-method” for 3Ds Max can not be applied whith the truespace, which results very frustrating :mad: , so, PLEASE, could any Hero tell me a good method to solve my existencial problem??? (Hehe, I quite exaggerated my suffering:smiley: )

:smiley: HI there! Im a trueSpace addict! Whatsup?

Hi

Displacement maps are only supported in TrueSpace 7

I’m also very interested in this.

I think the combination of TrueSpace7 and ZBrush2+ZMapper
will be a good toolset for gamemaking.

Polytrans to truespace.jpg Hi everyone! I’ve found the solution to all of our texturing problems with the trueSpace and Zbrush:lol:! and it is a software called Okino PolyTrans (well… i know, it isn’t free, but once you have it it solves all your “3d softwares interactivity” problems :eek: ), it lets you transfer your models from zbrush to any other program while keeping the textures and materials applied without any deformation, fantastic! finally I can texturize and give detail to my “trues” in zbrush and then take them back to the truespace.

If this helps anyone please tell me :smiley:
