I’m thinking of buying Zbrush 3.5 now. Is it possible to change the windows license to OSX once 3.5 comes out for the mac?
Also is it possible to transfer the license from one computer to another? I’m traveling around the world since january with my macbook air and a wacom intuos. But I stopped in Hong Kong staying 3 months and got an iMac. So i would like to work on the iMac with Zbrush now (boot camp windows installed) but use it on my macbook air when i get back on the road in a few months. Is it possible to do this with one license? And if yes is the process hassle free or involves going through support?
Zbrush works well in bootcamp.
Normally Pixologic charges for crossgrades. If you’re pretty new to Zbrush, there is little harm in starting with Mac ZB 3.2 (which is pretty solid) and upgrading to Mac ZB 3.5 when it’s available in a couple months. You’ll not have some newer features of 3.5 for those couple of months, but you’ll have a very serviceable sculpting program in ZB 3.2.
